Abstract and Harold Gunson submissions are now closed!
In the week following the closing date, each abstract is allocated for assessment by 3-5 external reviewers from a wide panel, abstracts are then scored by each reviewer using set criteria and the scores are collated by MCI at the end of the external review period.
ISBT and the Local Organizing Society subject matter experts meet in person on 11-13 March to discuss any anomalies, decide on acceptance of abstracts and make selections for posters and short oral presentations to complete the scientific programme.
During the week starting March 18, MCI informs abstract authors of the outcome and requests those with accepted abstracts to register for the congress to present their work. The production of the Vox Sanguinis starts at this stage to include all abstracts that will be presented at the congress.
