About
We bring together ISBT members working in the field of immunohaematology and focus on practical subjects common to Immunohaematology practice. We discuss educational activities, website communications, exchanges of information and rare samples, recommendations for best practice, supporting developing countries in an advisory capacity. We also promote best practice and facilitate improvements in Immunohaematology through education, communication, exchange of ideas/resources and support in the areas of red cell serology, molecular testing, antigen/allele matching and transfusion recommendations.
Our Chairperson is Thierry Peyrard.
Activities
We meet at the ISBT congresses and focus on additional education venues such as website communications, immunohaematology forum, list of references specific to immunohaematology topics and recommendations for minimal testing.
